i mean im no expert on tudor fashion and the witcher just loves to blend time periods for inspiration but jaskier’s costumes are clearly extremely tudor influenced and given that on like, a formal occasion Jaskier does seem to wear his doublet laced closed like doublets are supposed to be (tho it looks like it’s maybe fastened rather than laced? idk man im not a costumer i just love historical fashion)
the fact that most of the rest of the time he’s going around with his doublet unlaced to show his cute embroidered undershirt (i looked up if it had a specific name in tudor fashion and like it does it’s called a chemise which im used to meaning ‘women’s underwear’ for most of modern fashion history, and chemises don’t often have embroidery and embellishments because like, they’re not meant to be seen, altho it’s not uncommon for wealthier people)

I can’t help but notice the huge proportion of people who submit to this blog who have some sort of LGBTQ+ words in their urls and I just wanted to share 500 Queer Scientists, which is a visibility campaign for LGBTQ+ people in STEM/related fields!
They have a website, instagram, and twitter where LGBTQ+ scientists share their stories and I think a lot of them are very inspiring. If you’re a student or scientist you can submit your own story as well!

Notice they do not call themselves a Nazi. Instead, they use a collection of dog whistle interests that require specific contexts to be understood as basically white nationalism, colonialist white-heritage ‘antiquities’, specifically white nationalist Christianity, Nazi-related gender roles and ‘traditionalism’. Notice they work with children.
Learn to recognize Nazis. They do not look like goose-stepping jack booted thugs all of the time. Beware.
